- Who processes your information
The Institute for Personal Close Protection of South Africa, trading as PBM Tactical, PSIRA registration number 1855648, of 8A Westend Street, Piet Retief, 2380, telephone 017 647 0091, is the responsible party for the personal information you submit through this form. - What we collect
Your name or company name and registration number, your South African ID number, your contact details, the address of the premises to be protected and directions to it, the services you require, the emergency contact people you nominate, your banking details, and your signature. We also record the date and time of your submission, your IP address, your browser identification, and a cryptographic fingerprint of the exact wording of each document you accepted. - Why we collect it
To assess and open your account, to provide the security services you request, to reach you or your nominated contacts when an alarm activates, and to collect the monthly fee by debit order. We are also required to keep certain records as a PSIRA-registered security service provider. - Who we share it with
Your banking details and the mandate you sign are provided to StratCol, our debit order collection partner, so that they can issue payment instructions to your bank. We do not sell your information and we do not share it for marketing purposes. - How we protect it
Your ID number and your bank account number are encrypted before they are stored, and our staff see only the last four digits unless there is a specific reason to view the full value, which is recorded. Information is transmitted over an encrypted connection. - How long we keep it
For as long as you are a client, and afterwards for as long as we are required to keep records by law or need them to defend a legal claim. Applications that are never completed are deleted. - Your rights
You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, and withdraw your consent. Withdrawing consent for the debit order does not cancel your service agreement. Write to us at the address above or telephone 017 647 0091. You also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa. - Providing your information is voluntary
You do not have to give us this information, but we cannot open an account or provide security services without it.
